BRIDAL

The inspiration for the bridal project came from the story of my family who immigrated to Israel in 1880's for Zionist reasons.
My family sold all its property in order to buy land for the settlement of the country. The Hershznon-Reinschreiber families
are from the oldest families in the city of Rehovot and were an integral part of the city's establishment.

My guiding story for the creation of the collection is that of my
great-great-grandmother Gittel who lost her husband Moshe at
a very young age and was left with two children and many farmland.
Gittel was forced to become a housewife and also continue to
cultivate the lands until she could no longer, and sold the lands.
