This course involved with choosing an iconic fashion item, preserving the items DNA and transform
it to a new garment. The iconic item I choose is Combinaison. During the historical research I did,
I discovered that since 1867 the icons main components are the color (light blue, pink, ivory, white
and black), laces and the pattern’s cuts.
The item that began as an underwear that was supposed to isolate and preserve the upper wear from body harm,
can be found today in any wardrobe as a basic item.
These components lead me to create a wearable feminine collection that want to generate the tension
between soft and hard.
